Several sources in the French media report that Qatar would be close to buy 24 Rafale Fighter jets. Qatar is looking for a replacement of its 12 Mirage 2000-5 which are mainly air superiority fighters.
I doubt the Qataris or any other country will touch the Rafale with a long pole after the fiasco ridden and thoroughly unprofessional attitude of Dassault in the Indian MMRCA competition.
