Rafale has just landed in Brazil for Cruzex V

After a stop at Dakar (Senegal), the 4 Rafale of the french air force crossed the atlantic to reach Brazil this saturday. They were refueled once by the KC135 that was flying along them for the trip.

The Rafale is taking par for the first time in this major Air force exercice. It will work mainly with Chilean and US F-16 as well as with Brazilian F-5Br and Mirage 2000C.
Some sources say that the announcement of the FX-2 winner could be made at the end of the exercice. Neertheless, the last comments of defence Minister, Nelson Jobim, suggest that it is unlikely.
